Equal Idiots – who describe themselves as “two idiots from Hoogstraten City” – have been creating uncompromising garage punk since 2012. Thibault Christiaensen tears it up on guitar and vocals, while Pieter Bruurs smashes his drumheads to pieces. After winning De Nieuwe Lichting in 2016 and reaching the finals of Humo’s Rock Rally, the two were launched on the road to success.

Their second single, Put My Head In The Ground (2017), topped Studio Brussel’s De Afrekening chart for five weeks. In 2020, they released their second album, Adolescence Blues Community. With wild energy like a pair of Tasmanian devils, their meticulously crafted, high-octane performances are guaranteed. Now, after four years, Equal Idiots are back with deeper, more stirring music that moves everyone.
